The four cornerstones of well-being are what heal us, moving us forward into a vibrant life filled with passion, purpose, and possibility.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How can The Tapering Club help?
A: There is an enormous amount of misinformation in both the public and healthcare professional communities about how to safely taper off a benzodiazepine. Dr. Jenn offers the best practices currently known in the benzo community. The group offers many unique benefits, many not found in other support groups. Access to vetted prescribers is one of those benefits.

Q: Does Dr. Jenn have a cure for Benzodiazepine Withdrawal?
A:  The consensus in the benzodiazepine community is that there is no “magic bullet,” but symptoms will go away in time. Dr. Jenn brings a wealth of personal and professional experience to help make your healing journey as comfortable as possible. Dr. Jenn cannot diagnose or give medical advice, but she can ensure you have the best information to make good decisions about your recovery and to offer advice on coping skills and the four cornerstones of well-being that promote healing.

Q: What makes Dr. Jenn’s group unique?
A: Lots of things! It meets on Discord, a fantastic community platform, and offers live coaching, exclusive teaching content, a virtual -assistant for tapering doses, discount on 1:1 coaching, but most of all, it is unique because it FOCUSES on healing, positivity, and solutions. It is not a place of fearmongering, which happens in so many benzo groups.

Q: What is Discord, and why do we use it?
A: Discord is a chat/voice/video app similar to Facebook but has several advantages:

  • Anonymity: Discord does not require you to use your real name
  • Privacy: Discord does not egregiously spy on you.
  • Control: Discord lets you decide how you want to participate
  • Security: Outsiders can’t see your activities on Discord
