I’ve had to answer that question a lot lately. My last blog post here was in February! I’ve been incredibly busy with my Mornings With Jenn support group (I’ve added more hours of live support each month), writing my book, The Benzo Withdrawal Survival Guide (yes, it’s taking me years, but I’ll get it finished!), Installing three demonstration gardens, researching more information about healing through nutrition, studying more social neuroscience (polyvagal theory), posting a few new videos on my YouTube channel, Dr. Jenn, trying out new healing recipes to share (my favorite at the moment is a vegan Welsh Cawl) and of course, my individual coaching sessions.

There aren’t enough hours in the day, it seems!

I am sorry I’ve neglected my blog. I’ll do my best to keep in touch more and continue to share the content that I hope helps you better navigate benzo withdrawal. And, I’m going to have a lot more content in the coming months as I’m applying to start a certification program to become a Registered Holistic Nutrition and Health Coach. Adding it to my doctorate in psychology and post-doc social neuroscience studies will be fantastic! It will take a few years to finish the program in its entirety, but that’s alright. Getting through benzo withdrawal has taught me patience. It will be time well spent.

There are a few changes in my work that you may want to know about.

I have to scale back my one-on-one coaching to Tuesdays and Wednesdays. However, I am adding more hours and content to my Mornings With Jenn support group. We meet Monday, Wednesday, Friday, live at 9 AM pacific on a secret Facebook page. I am adding three monthly live sessions for people who are tapering, off, or protracted. I’m also adding live sessions about whole food, plant-based nutrition, and cooking for healing as well as live gardening videos (flower and vegetables) to help anyone who wants to utilize the power of Mother Earth to heal.

All in all, as a member of Mornings With Jenn, you’ll receive about 15 hours+ of live interaction with me. If you are interested, please feel free to request a free one-day visit to see if you like the group. The cost is $59 a month. The price will be going up for new members on August 1, so join us soon to lock in the low price. The price won’t ever increase once you join.

I am also having to scale back on answering emails, texts, Facebook messages, etc. I spend countless hours every month reading and answering questions and concerns from people all over the world. As much as I want to be helpful, and I know that most medical professionals are uneducated and therefore not the best resources for help, I don’t have the time. I wish I did.

One thing that hasn’t changed is that I still offer after-hour coaching sessions for emergencies. You’ll need to contact me first to see if I am available. (More info about scheduling an after-hours session is on the client portal where you sign up for a coaching session.)

Another thing that hasn’t changed is my passion for helping you heal. On June 23, I will celebrate TEN YEARS off of my benzo. I can’t believe a whole decade has gone by! Over the years I’ve learned so much about the nature of true health and happiness. I’ve healed not only from benzo withdrawal but from my childhood traumas as well— even healed a few life-long health issues. I am the best version of myself ever! I know you can recover from benzo withdrawal, AND you can heal the things that have kept you from being your highest and best self. I know you can do it!

Here is to the next ten years! I don’t know where I will end up, but I know I will enjoy the journey of learning and loving. I am going to enjoy the gift of being alive and being able to share with you all I know about health and happiness.

From my heart to yours,
Dr. Jenn
