Popping Xanax is more harmful than you think, writes Fox News. It’s an article that first appeared in Self.
I wrote to Fox today, asking them to please consider a follow up story about life post benzos, as the healing can take so long and we often lose so much.
You can write to them and encourage them to cover the story more in depth.
foxnewstips@foxnews.com is the email to use. You may want to mention this blog and the petition.
BTW The flu really set me back in withdrawal. I am struggling, sorry to say. It is hard to believe that 2.5 years out, I can still be burning, tingling, and having severe pain, along with crushing fatigue.
It’s a long road back to health for some of us. And frankly, I am weary of the journey. I am so ready to put this chapter in my life behind me. I know each and every one of you are as well.
Keep fighting. I will too. I love you all so very much.
Jenn
Thank you Jennifer – we love you too and appreciate your posts and encouragement.
Keep fighting too.

Me, too. Thank you for all your encouragement. We definitely love you. You are an anchor for us in this horrific episode of our lives. Keep hanging on, and we will too. Thanks for all your work in getting the word out about this unbelievable nightmare we are going through. God will bless you for it!
I think I would like to Dr Phil to address this issue too. It needs to be out in the open. What about Erin Brokovitch, as a class action suit should be brought against all those physicians who prescribed the benzos and denied the harmful affects as well as denied the W/D.
Jenn- This flu season seems to be a hard one even for those who don’t have the sensitivities we have at this stage. I wish you continued strength to keep moving forward, which I know you will do. I am noticing quite a few accounts of benzo w/d lately in the media. This is so long overdue, and it is great. I will email fox, though, they are surely not my fav as far as media:) Quite some time ago there was a thing going around to collect data for Erin Brokovitch, and I contributed, but do not know what ever became of it. I think, however, the suit should be brought against the drug companies, for it is they who hold all the cards here, they who pay kickbacks to get drs. to prescribe. And they who manufacture chemicals that they say are safe.
I too, had a flareup of w/d brought on by the flu recently. At 28 months off. And it has not settled back down yet. It is so hard, but I am trying to keep the faith.
best to all-S
Jenn, thank you for this information. I have sent a note to Fox. Also my wife tells me there was a story on Entertainment Tonight on Friday and another follow up tonight, (Monday). Lets keep working to get the word out.
