As many of you know, one of my children is quite ill. We had an “emergency” family meeting in the wee hours of the night to hammer out a game plan for his journey back to health. His case is complicated and he needs many specialists to help him.

I have prayed many prayers, asking for wisdom to help my son.  I am going to follow the wisdom that is in my heart. I need to cut back on many things in my life and focus on my son. I am still tapering slowly and have my own issues to cope with, so I don’t have the reserves I normally would.

I will not be blogging for a while until My son is on the road to health.

I will continue to email all of my benzo friends who I have created friendships with. In fact, more than ever, I need and cherish your friendship.

My taper is going well. I’ve come down from .875 to .66 in a few weeks and feeling sx, but its doable. This time I’ll go a lot slower. I suggest everyone listen to their bodies and slow down or hold if things start to go haywire. I wish I had done that the first time I tapered. My desire to get off this junk over rose my listening to my brain, mind and body telling me I was in trouble.

Thank you all for understanding. I deeply desire to be of help to others who are suffering from this hellish nightmare of benzo withdrawal. However, my son needs my full attention. And I need to reserve my strength to give to him.

I’ll be back when I can.

And, I have not forgotten the benzo bags! When I am recovered, I intend to put them together. They will hopefully help.

I can’t stress the GAPS diet enough. I’ve been on it a few weeks and it has cured my benzo belly. I do think it is helping as I make my cuts as well.

The forum is now located at www.benzorecovery.Com. Heart now owns it, and is moderating.

For those who believe in prayer,  would you please pray for my son Louis? I appreciate it very much.

All the very best to each and every one of you. I pray nightly for everyone suffering from benzo withdrawal. And for those people who have just been handed a script. May they stop taking their meds BEFORE their brains are dependent.

Dr. Jenn
