Hey my dear benzo buddies. I am going to be making this blog private soon. I’ll see if Don wants to start his own blog, since he is recovered totally and is a much better spokesperson for recovery than I am.
If in the future I heal more and feel I am able to contribute something positive and of value to the benzo world, I will let you know.
I am not hosting the benzo summit as not enough people showed interest.
I hope to be blogging about my complete recovery one of these days. Until then, I don’t want my story on the internet any longer, for personal reasons.
If there are people you want to stay in touch with via email, you can send me your email and I will make a general email list that will be given (privately) to anyone who asks for the list.
I thank you all for your support, love and compassion all of these long, hard, dark years.
It’s been quite the journey.
Blessings,
Jennifer
I’m sorry to hear this, but I understand and wish you all the best. I hope you’ll be back with the story of your complete recovery very soon.
I just had my 1 year benzo free anniversary yesterday. I honestly don’t even remember how I started getting emails from Benzo Withdrawel Help. I wish you all the best as you continue to heal. Thank you for being here and God Bless ~
Dear Dr. Leigh:
You don’t know me, I am tapering off Valium using The Ashton protocol.
I am writing to wish you, to send you, love and light, and my tiny, so tiny bit of strength and hope.
I cannot know why you are going dark. Good for you for taking care of yourself. People try and shame us, and when one is high profile I imagine you draw fire.
Intellectually you know that you deserve respect, love and much admiration. In fact, you have this from so many. Yet, we are easily hurt.
Step into a big bubble of our love, one day at a time. Remember how much you have given, how strong you are.
Bless you dear woman.
Warm regards, Tierney Barron
remember Ms. D. Parker: “I don’t care what they write about me as long as it isn’t true.”
Jennifer, I have full confidence you will heal completely. When you come back we will be here, some healed and some on the way still. No matter how you feel, your presence has been a comfort to us all. Your words contain a true strength I know runs through you. When I think of you, I will pray too because I believe there is a God who planned our days before we were formed in the womb. He knew you would walk this treacherous path and has designated a time that it will end. Why this happened I can’t say, but I thank Him everyday for those who have gone before me and reach back to bring me out.
Jenn:
You are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. I too believe God is going to heal you…and when it happens, we hope to know and celebrate with you. Many blessings…
Xoxo

Jennifer,
I’m hoping this is your final wave. I know it’s a bad one, and it has you reeling and questioning…but I’m sure it will end. I do hope to one day blog again once my current writing project is complete. By then, you may well be well and can continue here. You are very loved. Please hold that deep within your heart and don’t let it go. You will return, and I look forward to that day.
Don
I’m so sorry Jenn. I know you will be healed. Keep believing that. Live like you are. I want you to know that in the short time I knew you, you have touched my live. You are special, remember that always. God bless you
Francine
Jennifer, please know that you were and still are such a blessing and help to all of us benzo sufferers. You have been my lifeline ever since I started this journey 17 months ago. You’re going to be sorely missed, but I truly believe you’re at the end. So many experience a horrific wave just before complete healing. I would love to leave my e-mail for you. It’s “neelsyhmurphy@yahoo.com”. Will be praying for you and May God bless us all.
Wow, I am sorry to hear about this. I look forward to your blog stories and was encouraged much by them , since I am on similiar timeline to yours and empathise much in the same rollercoaster of symptoms and recovery. Please keep my email as I would love to stay in touch. Know God is with you and all of us always, and that God is Love, and you will heal. As we all will. We all must keep faith in this fact. Peace and Healing to you. Joseph
Jenn..I will so miss your inspiring and encouraging posts…I am on FB so I will reach out to you that way if you are still there. You will heal…these waves are so discouraging….just keep doing what you have been doing…your garden, your faith in a higher power and most of all your positive outlook. Take good care of yourself! Ruth
I am a psychotherapist, school psychologist who is 1 year out, still really hurting and have been so encouraged by your blog. My thoughts go with you and I thank you for your good work. Could you please pass my e-mail to anyone that may be helpful to me.
Thank you, again and best of luck, Jennifer. Carol
Dr Jenn, I would like to get Carol’s email if you don’t mind. I do want to thank you for everything you have done and I am sure that you will be feeling better soon. I know this has been very tough on you and I know there are days where you feel you can’t go on but you are getting better it is just the benzo beast trying to bring you down. Please hang in there and know that you are going to turn a corner. Randy
